It has all the looks and functions as the original GLS-5500 except this time it comes in a unique dark color way with a ape illuminated in the backlight. This watch is going to be released in very limited quantities, so stay on top of you game if you want one. Release date: December 4, 2010.

Who's Wearing What?

Check out the break down by the numbers of who wears what shoes in the NBA. Nike is completely running house. Pretty much everyone is rockin' the Hyperfuses, including myself, except I'm not in the NBA (yet). What I want to know is is who is the lone guy wearing the New Balances? Why, am I afraid it's Matt Bonner? Nope, luckily I was wrong, it's Charlie Bell..  Look at Peak, Li Ning and Anta holding it down in the middle of the pack.  Just watch, those brands are going to jump in the next couple of years.  However, no one will ever take over Nike/Jordan/Converse or Adidas/Reebok for the 1st and 2nd places on the list.  See if you can spot your favorite players wearing these sneakers next time you watch an NBA game.

Once again Miami, take some pointers from the Celtics, a team who can combine a plethora of superstars and still win games and have great chemistry. LeBron and Wade just dont mend together, and Bosh sucks. I would take our veteran all stars over those three selfish ball hogs any day.

My prediction: Spoelstra gets fired this week, they hire some other dud coach, and they still continue to lose.

New Lebron Logo

LeBron debuted his new logo in his "Person of the Year" interview with Matt Lauer.  It's an "L" and a "J" with the crown from his old logo.  Unlike his old logo, which incorporated his old number, 23, there's no sign of a 6 in this one.  That's a smart move by LeBron, so just in case he makes the decision to change his number because he wants to pay respect to the all-time great Bill Russell, he doesn't have to change everything about his brand with Nike. What a great decision by the great LeBron James. I'm surprised he didn't have a press conference prior to the interview for the logo.

The Wall Street Journal Analyzes the "Dougie"

Look what we having gracing the pages of the Wall Street Journal..  Very, very important news, I would say.  Do you think the kids who made this song ever in their wildest dreams thought their song would have them being written about in the Wall Street Journal?? Probably not. Honestly, though, I'm glad to be seeing stuff like this in the news.  We live in a age where almost everything you see on the news, read about online, or listen to on news radio is pretty depressing.  So if I had a copy of the Wall Street Journal, reading about how bad my stocks and the market are doing, or not really finding the articles about Facebook's new messaging features very interesting, this would definitely catch my eye.  And maybe, just maybe, it would even brighten up my day (like watching John Wall kill it with his dougie).

Is Tony Parker Mentally Disabled?

Eva Longoria has recently filed for divorce from elite NBA point guard Tony Parker. Rumors are that she found well over 100 text messages in his phone from Erin Barry, wife of former teammate Brent Barry. First of all....why in the world would you ever cheat on Eva Longoria? Granted Erin Barry (pictured after the jump) is not bad looking at all, she is still no Eva Longoria. Tony Parker should have been thankful that he landed someone as smoking as her to begin with, but too late now Tony. On the bright side, hopefully this disrupts the Spurs team chemistry because they have a very good record so far.

He was unable to play the first ten games due to a suspension, but now that the Celtics have D.West back, it's only going to help boost their confidence throughout the rest of the season.

GIRL TALK : ALL DAY

Wow. What can I say? I just listened to this entire album through (as it should be listened to) and I'm speechless. This musical compilation is nothing less than a work of art. There's no better way to describe it but just that: ART, and possibly masterpiece.  After two years of secret, hard work, the out-of-no-where release of All Day yesterday morning did nothing less than shut the internet down.  You couldn't download for most of the day, that's how many people were downloading it. Lucky for you, the dust has settled from the first rush of downloads, and you should have no problem getting it from Girl Talks website. Enjoy it, appreciate it, and cherish it.  It is truly something special.

Back when the AM 90 Infrareds dropped, California skate shop Primitive got together with model Justene Jaro and had her model the shoes in order to promote the shoes and the shop.  Primitive is now releasing the images as 17 x 21.25 posters, that can be purchased at their website for $19.99 (you get 2 double-sided posters for that price).  If you have the Infrareds, you gotta get the poster.  How can you pass up a picture like this, of a super fine chick rockin' a pair of classic Nikes? NBA Friday Night Recap

A ton of NBA basketball was played tonight, nine games in total. For true NBA fans, a couple of the match-ups were worthy of following, but no big time games were on the schedule tonight. It's impossible to watch every minute of every game, catch all the highlights, and write about them all. But honestly, who needs it? I watched the end the of the OKC Thunder- Portland game and caught 2 minutes of highlights from around the league. What I heard was so intriguing, interesting and amazing that I had to share it with the world, because I don't know who will be watching Sportscenter over and over again tomorrow morning.  I won't get into too many details, there's just some stuff you gotta know. Tonight, the Boston Celtics will be playing the LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh down in Miami. I refuse to say that the Boston Celtics will be playing the Miami Heat because if I did that, it would show that the Heat play team basketball, which they don't. Eddie House is the best player on the Heat and it's no surprise since he was once a beloved Celtic. Good Luck tonight Miami, you're going to need your home crowd because it will be pretty upsetting if the "old" Celtics out-play you again.

Nike SB doesn't think so.  Their already super popular SB Dunk is getting a little body and sole makeover, with some new and improved specs on the soles and on the inside lining.  Newly added ridges on the bottoms will add extra traction for skaters, and more padding on the inside heel will add comfort for whoever is rocking a pair.  Expect to see these new-and-improved SBs in 2011.  via Warped

Black Friday = Sneakerheads' Holiday

The official date of release for the Jordan 7 Bin 23 will be on November 26th, which is, of course Black Friday. I'm sure this will be a big hit at any stores that have a Jordan Brand account and are lucky enough to get these in stock. These, along with the Flint 13's releasing on one of the biggest shopping days of the year will definitely create some long lines at the sneaker stores. Retail price is going to be $175 just like all the other Bin 23's that have released thus far.

Apparently, there are rumors that this may be the version that will be on the album. Nike has reopened the doors to its NikeTown store in London, England.  Why is this blog-worthy, you ask?  Well, not only has NikeTown reopened in London, but its doors now lead eager customers to a 4-floor, 42,000 square-foot, behemoth of a Nike Store.  It is officially the biggest Nike Store in the world.  It's safe to say I would like to go to London and spend an entire day in this Nike Store; it would be like being in heaven for a day.  Check out more pictures, videos, and features of the new NikeTown London over at freshnessmag.com
