Slam Magazine: New Cover boy

Yes, that is Celtics very own Rajon Rondo gracing the cover of Slam Magazine. There are two alternate versions of this months issue. Rondo is on one, and another point guard is on the other. Regardless, I'm sure Slam will deliver a great piece on him. Slam Magazine is my favorite sports magazine out there. It's been a while since I last bought an issue, but I think I will have to make a trip to the corner store and pick this one up! Support RR! Convert to Rondoism

Rondo Can Do Whatever The Hell He Wants

Remember back before the start of the season Rajon Rondo told the media this:

"Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo is saving his money in the event of an NBA lockout. NBA commissioner David Stern says he wants to cut player salaries by one-third.

Rondo says he's "saving a lot of money this year." He is scheduled to make $9 million this season."

This made me (and probably a lot of people) believe that Rondo would be very conservative with his new 5 year, 55 million dollar contract. But on twitter last night, he showed us that he was staying entertained with this expensive video game system while nursing his sprained ankle with the photo below. I like this, you know why? Rondo can do whatever ever the hell he wants. He says he's gonna save money, and a few months later BOOM, $5000+ dollar video game. Don't care. #1 point guard in the league.

Air Rondo got up there, straight up threw down on whoever was guarding the paint Chris Bosh. That's what happens when you don't play D for 7 years in Toronto. Rondo is the best point guard in the NBA, and not just because he's got ups like that. Take some notes Miami, team chemistry matters....
