Freshness Friday

Welcome to our very first "Freshness Friday." Freshness Friday is a special Friday-only blog post where we pretty much just post a little bit of everything. Each week will be a little different, but fresh no matter what.

Today's Freshness Friday is gonna cover the Celtics, some new old beats, an ill sneaker video, and Kanye.

Check it all out after the jump.

In case you don't know how we feel about the Boston Celtics, or if you missed what Rondo did to Chris Bosh's face last night, definitely check it out.  We won't dwell on this game for too long, because it's just one game in a long season, but Rondo's dunk was monstrous.  And the Celtics looked real good last night.  After the game, Paul Pierce said,
It's been a pleasure to bring my talents to south beach now on to Memphis
and although we all see the humor in the tweet, Pierce has the right idea. Last night is done, Memphis here we come.

This jam right here, is a jam. Straight up, can't describe it any other. The song made it's way on to the Fresh, etc. playlist after it was heard in the movie "Pootie Tang," and is gonna be played for a long time. The first 5 seconds of the song gets things started off right. After that beat drops, there's nothing else to do but grab a fine honey and dance like it's 2002.

New balance sneaker Projection mapping_01 from Hayoung Jung on Vimeo.

I'm not sure what the story behind this video is, but it's been online for about a month now, and it's just now starting to get attention. It's a really dope video, though. Creator Hayoung Jung did projection mapping of a shoe justice in this video. Definitely watch the whole thing, it's cool.

Kanye West

Kanye West is the best artist out right now. His knowledge and abilities are way past everybody else. Anyone who is a true fan of Kanye knows that all this Today Show nonsense is just a bunch of BS. Kanye is great, buy his album on November 22nd.  Enough said.

Kanye's twitter

oh, it is Friday today, so keep an eye out for the G.O.O.D. Friday post.  Unless it becomes G.O.O.D. Saturday, which has happened in the past, we will have the song posted here.

Have a fresh Friday
